Exhibition - Style and External Needs

A homage exhibition to Borko Lazeski (1917-1993) has been underway at the National Gallery of Macedonia, Cifte Amam in Skopje. The show has been organized to mark 90 years of birth of one of the most significant Macedonian artists in the post-war period. Borko Lazeski left an enormous stock as a muralist but was also famous as a painter, polemicist and pedagogue, an author of a textbook and initiator and founder of institutions relevant for the development of fine art in our country. He was the member of Denes group established in 1953, and his Paris visit in 1046-1048 was decisive for Lazeski’s art dedication.
