Bitola Cultural Summer
Bitola Cultural Summer is an annual event with the longest tradition. Each year between 1 July and 10 August, the citizens of Bitola can enjoy concerts, theatre plays, ballet performances, and many more events offered in the summer months.

Small Bitola Monmartre
The Small Bitola Monmartre is an international children’s painting festival held in Bitola in the last week of May, organized by the “St. Cyril and Methodius” Children’s Art Studio. Over 50 young and talented artists create their works on the streets of Bitola, beautifying the city with their energy, socializing, and creativity.

Monodrama Theatre Festival
Seven years ago Bitola's Cultural Center started a monodrama festival that has become an important source of theatrical activity. Located in the cross point of three borders - Macedonia, Greece, and Albania - the city of Bitola and the neighbouring Otesevo (with its international festival of small theatrical forms taking place at the same time in July) has become an attractive place for international exchanges for this region.
The first festival of Macedonian monodrama was held in October 1999 with Macedonian participation only and had a non-competitive character. Today the five-day festival has gained an international character and takes place 7-11 July.

Ilinden Days
This is an international festival of traditional folk songs and dances taking place in August in Bitola and has a tradition of over 30 years. Many folklore ensembles from Macedonia and abroad participate in this festival.

Manaki Film Festival
The festival was established in 1979 in honour of the first cameramen in the Balkans, the brothers Milton and Janaki Manaki, who shot the first documentary in 1905 with their famous Camera 300. Traditionally, the international Manaki Brothers Festival is held in the last week of September and focuses on cinema productions with considerable creative potential prior to their popular success.

Interfest - Bitola
Interfest is an international festival of classical music, held 2-12 October every year. In 2002, the festival celebrated its 10th anniversary. The 10-day festival gathers prominent musicians and renowned soloists from all European cultural centres.

Heraklea Evenings
Heraklea Evenings are a series of outdoor theatre and musical events held in the summer in places such as the amphitheatre in Heraklea, as well as other open venues.
