Director Darko Mitrevski, supported by the city of Bitola, completed the filming of a new project titled “Film Land”. The project’s goal is to promote part of Macedonia’s terrains before the western European and US producers as interesting locations for film shoots.
Mitrevski says that Macedonia has specific terrains.
“If a film production opens an office in Bitola, it will be close to the woods of Pelister, Ohrid and Prespa Lakes, picturesque villages in Mariovo, the rocks at Markovi Kuli, Tikves vineyards within an hour of driving”, he states.
Mitrevski is to leave for the USA at the beginning of 2007, where he wants to present the documentary to his American colleagues.
“We will see what this enthusiastic idea will bring about”, stressed director Mitrevski.
